No dogs allowed?

I am VERY upset right now. Why? Because, today my mama went to the bookstore. She goes all the time and I feel left out. So today I decided to play the classic guilt trip on her. Cry, beg, you know the drill. So she finally gave up and I got to go with her on her visit to the bookstore! I was so happy. Then that went straight down.

So we made it to the bookstore, and my mama opens the door holding me and then the lady goes.. here it comes.. "No dogs allowed!" I was very upset with her and I could have bit her face off. I may be little but I am NOT a whimp. So I had to wait outside all that time. Can you believe that? And there was even a "NO DOGS ALLOWED" hung up on the window. I am going to start a petition! Dogs should be allowed to go anywhere they want. This is not right. We are just like humans, we have feelings! Do any of you agree?

A visit to the Vet

This morning I had to go to the vet for a checkup. I hate the vets office because they're always sticking stuff in me! So I had to get a few shots and I had to get checked for worms of course.

1.) I get checked for worms

This is my LEAST favorite part. They stick some plastic thing in my booty and it hurts! Then they check it and see if I have any worms. Last time I had worms but luckily they're out now because it wasn't like it was a major problem. I had no worms this time, meaning mama is taking good care of me so far.

2.) I get my shots

I had to get two shots, a booster shot and then another shot to prevent me getting the worms I had last time. So the shots weren't horrible, the first one I didn't even move. But the second one stung, and I cried a little but then it was all done.

So the nurse told mama that I was a very healthy dog and she was taking good care of me, so yay! Have you had your shots?

Miracle Monday

So today I decided that I needed to dig around the junk. Little did I know, it would almost cost me my life.

So as I was saying, I went under a desk and dug around a few things. Being me, I found a little square box and chewed on it. Then little bitty blue specks of stuff flew out of the box, so I ate a lot of it. I walked away, leaving the box open. My mama soon found out the box I was chewing in was filled with rat poison. It was from a few years ago and was long forgotten. I started not being able to walk straight, and felt a little strange. What was going on? Mama was panicing and called the vet. I couldn't hear what they were saying. Panic Struck and fastly my mama put me in my doggy carier with a puppy pad because I was wobbly and throwing up everywhere. We got in the car and drove to the vet. When we arrived, I was taken in ASAP. I had to get a long tube go down my throat to help me throw it all up. Then I had to get several shots to help my blood clot more easily. I then had to keep throwing up from the tube, and it all really hurt so bad. My mama got to stay in the room to help me feel more comfortable, but it didn't help my yelping. She carresed my paw soothingly as it was done. Then, we were finished. We got some pills I have to take for 3 weeks. The poison will come out from me throwing up and my stool, and the pills help it were I don't feel any pain. We got in the car and drove back home, and I steadily threw up. I'm ok now, though I'll be throwing up and a little sore for this week and feel just a tad bit of pain. But I'd rather feel that then be dead. A miracle happened today, somehow my mama found out just in time. Thanks, god.

So today I found out I can't blog ALL weekend besides today! I can tweet and stuff, but not blog. Miss all of my great anipals! Hugs, Smokey.

Dog Tail Thursday

So today as I was laying in my dog bed with a deodorant bottle as a pillow, the day slowly passed by. Nothing was really going on, so I didn't know what to do. I heard a door swish open and it didn't really startle me at first. Then, suddenly, I heard something close in on my tail as I was in my doggy bed and yelped. I found out a door was closed in on my tail! My mama opened the door very fast and I curled up in a ball on my bed and yawned. My tail still hurt a little but it wasn't an emergency. So now I'm curled up in my bed once more, about to take a daily nap.

Woof Wednesday

Just wanted to wish all of my little doggy friends a happy #woofwednesday. And to all remind you what us dogs do best. Lick the water out of the toilet, dig around in the garbage cans, chew everything in sight, and just be a dog! Have a great day everybody.

Leaving

Today I got to play outside with Grandpa while Mama slept in. It was so fun. But when I went inside I learned I wont be able to tweet or blog for 3 to 2 days! Mama is going to visit her cousin and I get to go with her. So, no more blogging after Monday. I'll be gone until Thursday! I'll miss all my anipals.

Nothing really happened today. Even Twitter was a tad bit silent. That makes me sad, you know? I like to chat with my anipals, but I don't like having NOTHING to do! And then suddenly, Ding ding ding! An idea popped into my tiny little head. I could chew on everything in site! I chewed an alarm clock, sock, pencil, and my Mama's foot! It was so fun. What do you guys do when you're bored?

Rainy day

I love hanging out with Momma! It's just one of my favorite things to do. Momma and I were supposed to go to the park with each other today so I could have a fun walk! But it started raining, so we had to cancel our plans. But we decided to still do something. So me and Momma spent all morning together. She made me some puppy food, and then gave me a little bit of her human food, :D! Then she started taking pictures of me, and I love to have my picture taken. So I decided to smile for her today. I love my momma!

Guess what?! Today, as usual, I was digging through my mama's stuff. Little did I know, I would find a knew friend under all that junk! (Sorry Mama, but it is junk.)

So, as I was digging, I found a little horse looking thingie! And boy, is he fun to play with. We had a staring contest (See the picture above), We had a race, and of course I won. And this time when I was eating my doggy food, he didn't even try to steal any! Nope, not any. He just sat there, not even blinking. Then I got kind of bored with him and started chewing on him. Now I'm sitting in my comfy little dog bed, and chewing on my new horsie friend.
